في كتابه هذا، يفتح عبد الله الكعيد الأبواب على فضاء نصي مختلف، يصل من خلاله إلى معاني ودلالات عدة، وآفاق فكرية جديدة على مستوى الخطاب والمضمون، في "الذين طاروا مع العجّة" نصوص من وحي القافلة" تأكيد على أن "العجّة هي المرتكز الأساسي لنصوص الكتاب والعجة ما زالت دوامتها تدور وتدور فيظهر في ركابها الجاهز للإقلاع بلا بطاقات سفر ولا معرفة الوجهة". بهذه العبارات يصف الكعيد كتابه، ويذهب إلى أن "العنوان ليس بحاجة إلى تفسير فهو مفتوح ومتاح لكل التفاسير والإسقاطات ودور المؤلف ليس التعريف بنصوصه وتفسيرها بقدر ما هو فتح كوة في جدار التساؤلات وإطلاق علامات الإستفهام في فضاء القراء"، قائلاً أن كتابه "يصنف ضمن كتب الرفوف الرمادية فهو كما (بقشة فرقنا) يجمع المتفرقات ويؤلف بين الأضداد ربما يجد فيه القارىء شبهاً بقبعة الحاوي لكن بدون (أرانب)".
في ظل هذه الرؤية الفنية، يمكن قراءة نصوص الكتاب، وكلما توغلنا قدماً بين صفحاته سنعرف كيف تتفكك اللغة بين يدي الكعيد، وكيف يرسل شيفراته داخل بنى النصوص، ويقيم بواسطتها للذات الإنسانية موقعاً في النص وفي الواقع المعيشي أيضاً.
من عناوين الكتاب نذكر: ولوحة الغلاف لها قصة، أي شيء سيفي بالغرض، النسبية أم الحقيقة المطلقة!، تصريف الأعمال، الإسكافي الذي لم يفقد روح الكفاح، الذهن الحارس، الحد التسامحي للمجتمع، الحوار مع الأخ العربي أولاً (...) ونصوص أخرى.
