Book Description
نظم الشاعر جان سالمه ديوانه "قصائد" باللغة الفرنسية، وترجم قصائده نخبة من شعراء لبنان الكبار، أمثال الشاعر ريمون عازار، وجورج شكور وأمين زيدان ونظمي أيوب وجورج كفوري وإلياس عطوي وريمون فرنسيس. ومقدم هذا العمل الدكتور ميشال كعدي، الذي رأى في ديوان صديقه: "... أبياته مزيجٌ من إبداع الوجدانية، فقد بناها على تقاسيم الحسّ، والهيئة المخصوصة، والكلمات العيناء التي ما غاب عنها الحُسنُ، ولا فاتها الرّصف المتناهي" ويتابع الدكتور كعدي بالقول: "وقد لفتني في ديوان :"قصائد"، الذي كان لي شرف ترجمة قصيدة مفلذاته إلى اللغة العربية نضح الطراوة والنداوة، وإذا في البثّ أغنياتٌ مزمناتٌ ما استُعجم فيها خيالٌ أو رمزٌ أو كلام (...) . ما قاله هذا الشاعر، اختلط بالعصب والدم والروح، وما كتبه تساقط نازلاً على الرقاع قطعاً من قبسٍ وشظايا من نورٍ ثم سقطت ريشته حفراً لا حبراً".
في قصيدة بعنوان "يا لبنان!" نقلها إلى العربية الشاعر روبير غانم نقرأ: لبناني، وطني، حبّي أنت ... شعاري / يذبحونك كنعجة، يدمّرونك، وبك يُضحّى / قدرك هو هذا، مصيركَ ... منذ ظلمات الأزمنة / إنه قدر العظماء، يكسرهم سواد الطغاة / هو القانون الأتفه، اللاّ عادل الظالم ... للأقوى / يلوي رؤوس الأنقياء ... تحت أقدام التاتار ...".
جاءت قصائد الكتاب باللغتين العربية والفرنسية ومن عناوينها: "معاً" ، "عشرة أعوام" ، "أحَاجٍ" ، "كل أكاليل الغار" ، "أمس" ، "الفراغ الأكبر" (...) وقصائد أخرى.
