من الاعتقادات التي نادت بها الشيعة الأمامية هو ثبوت الولاية والسلطنة التكوينية للمعصومين في الأنبياء والأئمة والأوصياء على اختلاف وتفاوت بينهم في قوتها ومداها، وهذا القول منهم خاضع للدليل الحجة. وحتى يتضح الحال في هذه المسألة اعتنى الشيخ "إسماعيل حريري" بوضع كتابة الذي بين أيدينا والذي خصصه للحديث عن هذا الموضوع الولاية التكوينية مبيناً معنى الولاية التكوينية لغةً واصطلاحاً، ومن ثم واضحاً الدليل على إمكان هذه الولاية، وعلى وقوع هذه الولاية، وعلى ثبوت هذه الولاية في تصريح علماء الشيعة الأمامية، ومن ثم اعتنى بدفع الشبهات التي وردت أو قد ترد بهذه الولاية، ثم وضع خاتمة بين فيها كيفية تحصل الأصول الإعتقادية.
