ربيعة جلطي شاعرة جزائرية من مواليد الجزائر عام 1964، وقد نالت شهادة الدكتوراه في الأدب المغربي الحديث، وهى حاليا استاذة في جامعة وهران.
وكاتبة ومترجمة، لها خمس مجموعات شعرية.
أما تعتبر ربيعة جلطي راهنا من أهم الشاعرات الجزائريات فهي الوحيدة تقريبا من بين شعراء جيل السبعينات التي بقيت تكتب وتنشر مجموعاتها الشعرية، وهي كما تقول في بعض افاداتها الصحفية لم تكتب ضمن الجوقة السياسية لتلك المرحلة ولم تسقط في فخ التبشير الايديولوجي الذي وقع فيه الجميع متزوجة من الروائي امين الزاوي أصدرت العديد من الدواوين كان أولها ـ تضاريس لوجه غير باريسي

تعتبر الكاتبة ربيعة جلطي أنّ الواقع العربي يحتاج الى قراءة ثلاثية الأبعاد لكي يتمكن الروائي من أن يعكس في أدبه ما يدور على أرض الواقع. فهي اعتادت أن تمزج التاريخ بالواقع فقدمت روايات يختلط فيها العام مع الخاص بأسلوب أدبي جميل.
وهذا ما نجده مرة أخرى في روايتها «حنين بالنعناع» الصادرة حديثاً عن منشورات ضفاف والاختلاف.
تأتي هذه الرواية الجديدة بعد روايات متتالية هي: «الذروة»، «نادي الصنوبر»، «عرش معشق»، علماً أنّ ربيعة عُرفت في الوسط الثقافي الجزائري والعربي كشاعرة وليس روائية. فهل هجرت جلطي الشعر نهائياً لمصلحة العمل الروائي الأوسع انتشاراً عربياً؟ عن هذا السؤال تُجيب جلطي: «الشعر في جوهره هو الهالة الخفية التي تطوّقني وتمنحني حاسة سادسة قوية للنفاذ إلى الأعماق والتأمل.
أما الرواية فتريثت عشرين عاماُ قبل نشرها، حتى امتلأتُ برغبة تفصيل القول السارد، والشخصيات، والحيوات، والمكان، والزمان، وربط العقد وتفكيكها. الشعر خدمني كروائية أيضاً، بحيث ساعدني على نبذ المط والتكرار والحشو والعمل على اقتصاد اللغة».
