إنها رواية متمنعة عن التصنيف، جمالها في عذريتها، وفي صفاء صورها، ودفء حروفها، تدمي القلب وتداويه في آن.
قدمت الكاتبة منى التميمي لروايتها بمقدمة تتوجه فيها إلى القارئ ومما جاء فيها: "... ركز على الحلم الرائع. واثبت على قوة قلبك، وتجاوز كل الحروق التي تركت ندوباً مؤلمة. ركز على الإنسان في داخلك. والذي يحتاج إلى القشة التي قصمت ظهر البعير، وأبانت الحقيقة المجردة، لتساعدك، وتنير الدرب أمامك. لتعرف معنى الوفاء في مشوارك الأليم، وأن الحقيقة الناصعة هي ما يسعى إليه المخلصون، ليعززوا بداخلنا المفاهيم المترفة في ما يخص مؤشرات الحب والصدق والجمال".
من أجواء الرواية نقرأ: "... عندما تشعر بإخلاص المقَربين منك، تسد أذنيك عن أي كلمة عنهم. لأنهم يحتلون نصيباً وافراً من قلبك. وتصمُ قلبك أيضاً. يبقى صمتك منغلقاً على نفسه، لإيمانك بهم، وبجمال أرواحهم. إلى أن تأتي اللحظة الحاسمة. وتكتشف أنهم لم يكونوا سوى قطّاع طرق نهبوا كنوزك كلها، وذخيرتك التي حصلت عليها من الدنيا. كتموا أنفاسك، ثم سرقوا الغنائم وهربوا...".
