لو كنت تريدني، ما تزوجتُ غيرك، لكنك هربت إلى مكة، التي يذهب إليها الناس للعبادة، وأنت تذهب إليها لأمور تعرفها، ثم تأتي إليّ اليوم تعيّرني، أنا تزوجت سعد على سنة الله ورسوله، هو كان قاسياً معي، لكنه كان رجلاً معي كذلك، كان يغار علي من الرياح، وأنت لو كنت تحبني لكنت تغار علي، ولو كنت تغار علي ما تركتني بالشهرين والثلاثة، يا دواس أنا امرأة شابة، لي حقوق أنت لم تلبها لي، وليت إعراضك عني وإهمالك لي كان بسبب مقنع، كطلب الرزق كما يفعل شباب الديرة، ولكنك تركتني وتتركني لإشباع رغباتك المنحرفة، على قلة تلك الأيام التي تأتي فيها إلى الديرة تكبّر المخدة وكأنني لست زوجتك التي تحتاجك وتنتظر قدومك، تدخل عليّ فارع اليدين مكفهر الوجه، حتى الإبتسامة والكلمة الحلوة حرمتني منها، لكنني ورغم هذا ما زلت أحبك، وعلى إستعداد تام لأنسى كل هذه الإساءات إذا عدت دواس الذي أرجوه، فأنا أحبك وضحيت براحتي وسعادتي من أجلك، أرجو افق مما أنت فيه، أرجوك... أرجوك.
