المؤلف الأول في مجال الشعر (بعد العديد من الكتب السياسية والتاريخية والرواية). وجاء بعده من الدواوين :

يضم الديوان بين دفتيه رسائل حب وحرب وغياب. ومع كل رسالة أشواق وحنين وغربة وأنين. إذ كُتب على الديوان أن يرى النّور في زمن الغربة، وإن كان زمناً لم يبدأ بها ولن تنتهي كذلك معه. فلطالما كانت غربة القلوب والدروب مرافقة لللجميغ في مسيرة الحياة.
مما جاء في ديوان "فانيلا":
وشوشات"
وأنتَ..
ترسمني بالكلماتْ
لاتترك الألوان تحكيني،
دعك من الأبيض
والزم الرمادي،
لا... لا تقرب الأصفر
فاقعٌ لونُ غيرتِك يا أنت
فاحذر.
لاتصفني..
لاتشِفْني..
حرامٌ في عُرف العِشق
هذي التلميحاتْ،
فارحمني..
لا تترك عني
مايثير الشُّبهات،
فنسوة "يوسف"هنا ..
سَوّيْنَ الصفّ ضدّي
وبخّرنني بالحسد
والهمساتْ،
وأنا بين سكين الغَيْرة
وبينك حائرة،
فحين تَعنيني..
يحلو الكونُ في عيني،
أُحسِن في الكلّ ظنّي
وترويني بعض القطرات،
ثمّ.. تخاصمني
وقبل أن تصالحني،
تنفرد حولي النّظراتْ
فإن غبتَ
ولو ...ساعات
ضحكت، ياعمري،
الشامتات.
فاسألْ حروفَك التّروّي
واترك لي فُسحةَ دفاعٍ
أصدّ بها الهجمات،
فإن عجزنا..
ضحكنا.. وتراجعنا
تركتُ لهنّ حلو التأويل
ولك حرّ التصريحات
ولتشي بنا حينها
أحلى الوشوشات
