تعد زاهرة الاختلاف في الآراء والأفكار والنظريات والمعتقدات والتصورات بين بني البشر ظاهرة أزلية غارقة في القدم، وهي أيضاً ظاهرة طبيعية وفطرية، وقد أكد القرآن الكريم بوضوح على حتمية وجود الاختلاف بين أبناء البشر حسبما شاءت إرادة الله تعالى وحكمته، كذلك ينص العقل والفطرة والواقع الملموس على حتمية وجود الاختلاف كظاهرة طبيعية في الحياة الإنسانية.
وانطلاقاً من ذلك كله، يستدل مؤلف الكتاب على حق الرأي الآخر في الوجود والبقاء والتوالد والتكاثر وهو يطرح هنا مشروعية الرأي الآخر التي تأتي من نفس الأدلة التي يستدل بها على مشروعية الرأي للذات.؟
ففي الفقه الإسلامي يقرر الفقهاء مشروعية الرأي الآخر، فلا وجود كما يرى المؤلف لأية مسوغات شرعية أو قانونية للإلغاء الآخر، لأن وجود مثل هذه المسوغات يعني وجودها أيضاً كمبرر لإلغاء الذات فيما لو تمكن الآخر من السيطرة والحلول محل الذات.
