ولد وفيق غريزي في بتاتر في جبل لبنان عام 1942 وهو شاعر وناقد وباحث. تلقى علومه الثانوية والجامعية في القاهرة ومارس التعليم في عدد من ثانويات الجبل.

نتابع في هذا الإصدار قراءة (الأعمال الشعرية) للشاعر اللبناني وفيق عزيزي في جزئها الثاني، ويضم الديوان أربعة مجاميع شعرية هي: 1- إنتمائي إلى امرأة وليس إلى وطن، 2- عيون لبنى، 3- طقوس الجسد، 4- الحب بين المدى والسّراب.
والقصائد في مجموعها هي (وجدانية) تدور ثيماتها حول المرأة والوطن والرفض والثورة، جاءت لتعبر عن استشراف الشاعر للمستقبل، ولتنتصر للحرية، والعدالة، وحقوق الإنسان، وكل ذلك يجري في تعابير مبسطة، صادقة، وبقلم شاعر يعبّر عن مراراته المتعددة الأشكال والألوان.
تحت عنوان (جنازة النهار) من مجموعة (عيون لبنى) يقول الشاعر:
سفينة الدماء تحمل أحشاؤها جنازة النهار.
قبل أن تُغَيّبين الطريق. غنّي لي حبيبتي.
أنشودة الحياة.
خلال الليل تعانق الأرض السماء، على أغصان دمي.
طيور الكلمات، تغسل أجندتها برحيق الفجر
من أجفان المساء، يتسلّل النوم إلى جسد الرمال.
قدم للديوان الشاعر والمفكر اللبناني روبير غانم اعتبر فيه الشاعر وفيق عزيزي "هذا شاعر يختزن في داخله مسافات متشاسعات من الولع بالصدق الشعري كما أشدّد. تصعد آهاته من مثالية واقعية – كلنا لها – يريدها أن تسود هذا الوطن المنكون بالطغاة والأكاذيب، الشعر، إبن الوجدان والعقل، يعبّر عنه في نصوص وفيق عزيزي، بصور ناصعة تضج بالغنى الروحي الذي لولاه للفّنا الجفاف والأذى ..." . بهذه العبارات الشفيفة يقرأ روبير غانم وفيق عزيزي كشاعر وكإنسان يطرح همومه وأسئلته شعراً يقرأ.
