وقد قسم الكتاب إلى سبعة مباحث؛ جاء المبحث الأول تحت عنوان: "ميناء تيز في مكران في عصر الدولة المعدانية وأهميته السياسية والتجارية"، والمبحث الثاني بعنوان: "النظم الإدارية في عصر دولة المماليك الأتراك"، أما المبحث الثالث: فقد خصص لدراسة، "الجيش الهندي في عصر الدولة الخليجية"، وتناول المبحث الرابع "المصاهرات السياسية في الدولة الخانية"، وفي المبحث الخامس تم تناول "المجتمع البخاري في عصر الخانيين الترك (التركيب الإجتماعي)؛ وجاء المبحث السادس بعنوان: "أل كثكثة في بخارى ودورهم السياسي والتجاري في القرون الثلاثة الأولى للهجرة"، وكان المبحث السابع الأخير بعنوان: "العقوبات السياسية لوزراء المشرق الإسلامي في القرنين الرابع والخامس الهجريين".
