Book Description
"التمييز الطائفي والسبل التي طرحت لإزالتها خلال ثمانية عقود" هو عنوان الظاهرة التي سيتناولها هذا الكتاب، فقد ترافق تشكيل الدولة العراقية عام 1921 مع مجموعة من المتناقضات السياسية والقانونية، إذ جرى عزل الفئة التي ناضلت في مواجهة الإحتلال البريطاني منذ نزول القوات البريطانية ميناء الفاو عام 1914.
كما كانت هذه الفئة هذه التي كافحت من أجل إستقلال العراق، وأجبرت بريطانيا على تأسيس دولة عراقية بعد ثورة العشرين 1920، أما الذين كانوا ضباطاً وموظفين ومسؤولين في الدولة العثمانية، التي يفترض أنها كانت عدواً لبريطانيا في الحرب العالمية الأولى، فقد نالوا ما لم يحلموا به، عندما استحوذوا على السلطة وهيمنوا على مقدرات البلاد، ولم يشاركوا لا في الحرب ضد المحتلين ولا إلى جاب الدولة التي انتموا إليها وخدموها ومنحتهم السلطة والجاه، أي الدولة العثمانية.
برزت أولى مظاهر الإستحواذ في تشكيلة اول وزارة عراقية عام 1921، كما شمل التمييز الطائفي جميع الوظائف الحكومية والقضاء والتعليم والشرطة والجيش، ففشلت الأحزاب السياسية والشخصيات الحكومية، التي يصفها البعض بالوطنية في بناء شعور وطني مترسخ لدى جميع مكونات المجتمع العراقي.
وخلال العقود الثمانية برزت بضعة مشاريع قامت بها الأطراف السياسية والمذهبية تهدف إلى التخلص من هذه الحالة التي ظلمت مكونات أساسية في الشعب العراقي.
