يتناول المؤلف في هذا الكتاب الآيات القرآنية التي استنبط فيها فقهاء الشريعة بعض الأحكام من التشريعية. واستدلوا عليها بأدلة نحوية ولغوية، وغايته بيان أثرها النحوي واللغوي في أحكام الشريعة فكانت هذه الرسالة التي يتلخص منهجها بما يأتي: إن الاقتصار على الآيات التي تحمل دلالة لغوية أو نحوية على حكم شرعي دون التطرق إلى الآيات الأخرى التي لم يستنبط منها الفقهاء حكماً بمقتضى قواعد النحو واللغة. 2-البحث في الدلالة النحوية للآيات التي قام فيها الحكم على دليل نحوي والاستشهاد بدليل لغوي لتقوية ذلك الدليل النحوي. أما الآيات التي قام حكمها على دليل لغوي فقد تم بحثها في الدلالة اللغوية،وقد يتم معها ذكر من الأدلة النحوية ما يقوى ذلك الدليل اللغوي. 3-تبويب الرسالة بموجب الحكم الأصلي المأخوذ من الآية، وبعد إكمال الاستدلال على ذلك الحكم يتم ذكر ما قد يتحصل من تلك الآية من أحكام أخرى استنبطت بمقتضى قواعد النحو واللغة. 4-الالتغاء بذكر آية واحدة من الآيات التي تكررت في الدلالة على حكم واحد، كالآيات التي جاءت بالأمر بالصلاة والزكاة. 5-عدم التطرق للأحكام العقيدية التي تقوم على أدلة نحوية ولغوية، لأن البحث محصور فقط في آيات الأحكام العملية. 6-ترتيب الاعلام والأسماء التي تنتسب إليهم الآراء على حسب وفياتهم. 7-الاستعانة بذكر ما يرد في السنة النبوية من الأحاديث التي تقوي الرأي الذي يرجحه الباحث.
