هذا الكتاب هو مجموعة بحوث كنت قد أصدرتها في مجلات علمية محكمة، ونزولاً عند رغبة عدد من الزملاء الذين طلبوا مني إعادة طباعة هذه البحوث، لظنهم أنها تأخذ قيمتها مجتمعة بين دفتي كتاب، ولا سيما عند طلبة الدراسات العليا، هذا من ناحية، ومن ناحية ثانية فإن البحث في مجلة ما يبقى حبيس تلك المجلة، وقد لا تصل إليه يد الباحث، فالكتاب اوسع إنتشاراً من المجلة.
أما عنوان الكتاب فهو "دراسات في الفكر اللغوي والنحوي - رؤى لسانية"، وكلمة (فكر) فإن المعاجم تتحدث عن معانٍ كثيرة لها، فمنها: التأمل، والنظر، والإعتبار، وبذل الجهد في سياق نظري، يجعل الإنسان يتأكد من موضوعه، وينظر ما يحيط به، ويتعمق في بحث مسائله.
وقد جاء هذا الكتاب في مقدمة وعشرة فصول، كل فصل مستقل عن الآخر في فكرته، ومعالجته، ومضمونه، ومنهجه، لكن خيطاً يشد هذه الفصل إلى بعضها، وهو أنها دراسات في قضايا لغوية ونحوية وفق رؤى لسانية حديثة.
فالفصل الأول: وُسِمَ بــ "إستصحاب الحال بين أصول الفقه وأصول النحو"، والفصل الثاني: فقد وُسِمَ بــ "الإحتجاج اللغوي بين النظرية والتطبيق"، والفصل الثالث: وُسِم بــ "الأساليب الإنفعالية في خطب العرب - دراسة وصفية إحصائية"، والفصل الرابع: "وُسِمَ بــ "المتعلمون من غير العرب وقواعد النحو"، والفصل الخامس: الذي وسمته بــ "مهارتا التدريس الجامعي: التعبير والإستماع - دراسة وصفية تطبيقية"، والفصل السادس: الذي وُسِمَ بــ "ظاهرة حذف المفعول به في القرآن الكريم - دراسة وصفية إحصائية تحليلية"، والفصل السابع: وُسِمَ بــ "تمثلات المنهج الوصفي الإحصائي في الدراسات اللغوية الحديثة"، والفصل الثامن: وُسِمَ بعنوان بــ "الدرس النحوي في توجيه المعنى في تفسير التحرير والتنوير للطاهر ابن عاشور"، والفصل التاسع: كان بعنوان بــ "البنية اللغوية والنحوية وجدلية التأويل - مثل من الأساليبي النحوية - منهج وتطبيق في تيسير الإعراب"، والفصل العاشر: كان بعنوان بــ "قيمة اللغة في الوصف اللساني المعاصر".
