من المتفق عليه أن السنة النبوية المصدر الثاني للتشريع الإسلامي بعد القرآن الكريم، من أجل ذلك شمَّر العلماء المسلمون عن ساعد الجد لخدمتها والإهتمام بها متناً وسنداً، ثم شرحاً وبياناً، منذ عهده صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى عصرنا هذا، وسيبقى ذلك الإهتمام وتلك الخدمة قائمة إلى إنتهاء عمر الدنيا، وهذا الكتاب المسمى: (دلالات تعبدية وتربوية في أحاديث من صحيح البخاري) ومضة من تلك الجهود التي قام بها سلف هذه الأمة رضي الله عنهم.
وكان عملي في الكتاب على النحو التالي:
1-نقل الحديث بسنده من صحيح البخاري بحسب كتاب فتح الباري.
2-بيان غريب ألفاظ الحديث.
3-إيضاح مجمل معنى الحديث.
4-ذكر الدلالات التي تفهم من الحديث.
5-ذكر أرقام آياتٍ وسورها ذات صلةٍ بدلالة الحديث.
6-الإشارة إلى أحاديث ذات صلةٍ وردت في كتب السنة الأخرى غير البخاري.
