إن من أسرار الإعجاز القرآني، ذلك النظام العجيب في نظمه، وتلك الصلة العظيمة بين ترتيب دقيق في تكرار حرف أو لفظ أو جملة وبين تناسق أصوات تستريح لها الأسماع، وتناغم إيقاع تستوعبه النفوس وتجلي دلالات تحرض العقول على التدبر وتحث الأبصار على التأمل.
وهذه الدراسة محاولة متواضعة لتدبر بعض أسرار ذلك النظام الصوتي العجيب، ومتابعة أحد منابعه، وهو "تكرار" الحرف أو اللفظ أو الجملة - في نظام هو أحد وجوه الإعجاز البياني.
وبناءً عليه، تضمن الدراسة مدخلاً "ثم"، "الدراسة التطبيقية" التي تتضمن فصلين: الفصل الأول: "فيختص بدراسة الضرب الأول من التكرار وتحليل شواهده، أي به تكرار الحرف في الكلمة؛ يتصدر (المُدخل) إذ تضمّن أبرز الإشارات إلى جهود علماء اللغة العربية، وبخاصة في موضوع علاقة التكرار الحرفي بالمعنى، أي بالكشف عن الصلة بين المستوى الصوتي والمستوى الدلالي للقطعة ثم يضم الفصل - أيضاً - الدراسة التطبيقية، التي شملت (خمسة) مباحث، تناولت "نظام التكرار الحرفي" في أول الكلمة وفي وسطها ثم التكرار الحرفي في آخر الكلمة، أما الفصل الثاني، فيتضمن "التكرار اللفظي في السياق الكريم.
