(سورية الشهيدة) كتاب ضم سلسلة فظائع ارتكبتها مدنية القرن العشرين في ديار الشام؛ وهو عبارة عن تقرير رفعته اللجنة التنفيذية للمؤتمر السوري الفلسطيني بمصر، وقد قرر الأمير شكيب أرسلان نشره لكي يطلع العالم كله على ما يجري باسم التحضير والتمدين في الفجائع والفظائع في سوريا في زمن الإنتداب الفرنسي.
الكتاب هو مخطوط أثري هام، يقع في 36 صفحة، وهو من محفوظات مكتبة الأستاذ شوقي حمادة، من لبنان، عضو المجتمع العلمي، .. وقد ذيَل المخطوط بملاحظة خطتها جدة الأستاذ شوقي، والتي تقول فيها بأن الكتاب هو للأمير، وقد وضعه عهدة بين أيديهم.. لذلك تلقفت الدار التقدمية هذا الأثر الهام وها هي تقدمه للقارئ بحلة قشيبة، ليكون شاهداً على همجية المستعمر في بلاد الشام...
وفي هذا العمل يسجل الأمير شكيب أرسلان الأسباب العميقة التي جعلت البلاد تغضب وتثور حفظاً لكرامتها، وإثباتاً لوجودها، وسعياً إلى استقلالها.
