أنا روماني كاثوليكي، وأعمل كمحاماً في محكمة الجنايات في جنوب إفريقيا، عندما جرى احتلال أفغانستان، وبدأ غزو العراق، إضافة إلى ما تقوم به إسرائيل ضد الفلسطينيين، قمت بقراءة متمعنة لنص القرآن الكريم، لأني أردت أن أعرف فيما إذا كان الإسلام سوف يواجه مصير المسيحية نفسه أم لا، فاكتشفت أنه من السهل ربط الآيات القرآنية بالوضع العالمي الراهن، وأكثر من هذا، فهم المستقبل، بعد تدمير برجي التجارة العالمية بدأت الولايات المتحدة حربها على "الإرهاب"، ويدّعي بعضهم أنها كانت محتاجة إلى ذريعة لتحقيق مغامراتها ضد ما سّمي "الإرهاب الإسلامي"، ولا أظن أن هذه الكذبة كانت ضرورية لكسب تأييد الشعب الأمريكي، أو الحصول على الدعم الدولي، فبغضّ النظر عن الأمم المتحدة، والرأي العام نفّذت القوات الأمريكية والبريطانية ما يحلو لها، قُصف المسلمون، وقُتلوا واحتلّت أراضيهم، وأصبحت الديمقراطيات المصممة على النمط الغربي هي الممكنة، لذا كان على العادات والمبادئ الإسلامية أن تلغى. ومن ثم فأي مقاومة للمعايير الجديدة سوف تعد "إرهاباً"، فالحرب ضد المسلمين ليست فقط حرباً ضد شخص المسلم أو ممتلكاته، لكنها حربٌ ضد معتقده وإيمانه. ولذلك فإنّ "اغتيال الإسلام"، هو البرنامج. وأنا مقتنع تماماً بأن هزيمة الإسلام معتقداً غير ممكنة أبداً، ولن تقنع أي دعاية غربية المسيحيين المخلصين بأن الحرب ضد الإسلام مسوغة، والتزاماً بمصداقيتي الاحترافية وديني المسيحي، فإني لا أعتذر عن الكتابة بكل صراحة، لأن الحقيقة ليست مؤذية، بل على خلاف ذلك يمكنها أن تشفي.
