وقد حاولت في هذه الدراسات جميعها أن أتجاوز التقليد السائد في أكثر البحوث التي تنشر أو تلقى ممَّا يدور حول مسلّمات موضوعية معروفة، وتتبع إجراءات بحثية موحدة غالباً، وأن أجري وراء الحقيقة العلمية أولاً، وقبل كل شيء من منظور يتّسم بالشك والأمانة بل والفضول أحياناً، وتبتّل في البحث لا يضع بإعتباره رضا أحد أو الفوز بقبول المحكمين أو رؤساء التحرير، أو القائمين على إعداد المؤتمرات العلمية، والتحضير لها، وإستضافة عن يُدعى إليها، بل كان هدف هذه الدراسات تحديد الموضوعات، وتسمية العنوانات، وتثبيت المصطلحات وبيان مواصفاتها البنائية، وترويض أصولها وفروعها ترويضاً علمياً.
والبحث عن العلاقات الكامنة وراء المفاهيم والرؤى والمتغيرات، والمزاوجة بين القديم والمعاصر، والتراث والحداثة، ولأنّ هذه الدراسات أنجزت في أزمان متباعدة، ولمناسبات وغايات علمية مختلفة جاءت مناهجها، وأنظمتها، وطروحاتها الفكرية مختلفة، فلكلّ دراسة منها في إطار العلاقات التي تنعقد بها أصولها، وفروعها، وحيثياتها.
