لكن كل هذه التفسيرات - عند التأمل - تبدو سطحية وبعيدة عن الدقة، أو هي على أحسن تقدير ليست سوى مظاهر تعبر عن ظواهر أعمق وأرسخ إن الرجوع إلى التأريخ والتعمق في الخلفية الدينية المؤطرة للعلاقات بين الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل هو وحده الذي يقدم تفسيراً مقنعاً لتلك العلاقات، وربما تكون في الصفحات التي مضت إضاءة وافية للزوايا المعتمة في السياسة الأمريكية الماضية في درب الآلام، درب الصهيونية، منذ أن وضع أول حجر للبيت اليهودي على الأرض الجديدة.
لقد غاصت جذور الصهيونية في المجتمع الأمريكي، وترسخ عند هؤلاء أنهم على التوراة، ولكن كان لا بد لولايات الشيطان الأمريكية أن تجني ثمرة الشجرة الخبيثة وإن ضع خطوتها الأولى على طريق الآلام الذي ينتهي بالدجال اليهودي الأكبر، والناس ((يرون بداية الطريق ووسط الطريق، ولكنهم لا يرون نهاية الطريق، ونهاية الطريق لا ترى قبل أن تجيء)).
