فى الفصل الثانى تحدثنا عن أنواع المواد المتفجرة وصفات معظمها ببساطة ودون الدخول فى تفاصيل كيميائية وفيزيائية متقدمة يعن على القارىء غير المتخصص استيعابها.
فى الفصل الثالث من هذا الكتاب تكلمنا عن كيفية وميكانيكية حدوث الانفجار وتوابعه, وتناولنا فى الفصل الرابع معاينة مسرح الانفجار ومخاطره والطرق المثلى التى يجب إتباعها للوصول إلى أفضل نتائج تحقيقية تستطيع بها أن نتوصل إلى كشف طبيعة الانفجار ودوافعه, وذكرنا تكوين فريق التعامل مع الكوارث وتقسيمه إلى مجموعات مختلفة.
فى الفصل الخامس تناولنا الإصابات البشرية الناتجة عن الإنفجار وكيفية حدوثها, ومحاولة إعادة بتناء مسرح الإنفجار من خلال هذه الإصابات.
فى الفصل السادس تحدثنا عن كيفية وخطوات التعامل مع الأثر فى مسرح الانفجار.
وفى الفصل الأخير تناولنا طرق الكشف عن المتفجرات فى المطارات والموانىء باستخدام الكلاب والأجهزة.
