بالإضافة إلى ذلك يستبين القارئ من هذه المحاضرات الفارق البارز بين الأثر والنظر، والقول والعمل، ودور الجهاد في الحياة، وهو جهادان: جهاد أصغر للدفاع عن الإنسان والأوطان، وجهاد أكبر للدفاع عن القيم الإنسانية في محاسبة النفس ومغالبتها، وردعها عن الغواية والهوى. وأمل الكاتب أن يكون لمحاضراته بعض الفائدة التاريخية والثقافية.
