هذا هو الجزء الثاني من شرح قانون الأحوال الشخصية السوري: "الطلاق وآثاره" أقدمه لطلاب كليتي الشريعة والحقوق في جامعة دمشق وفق المقرر لديهم، حاولت كما فعلت في الجزء الأول عرض المواد القانونية مع شرحها شرحاً موجزاً وذلك بردها إلى أصولها ومصادرها الفقهية والقانونية المتعددة.
وتضمنت هذه الطبعة الخامسة زيادات هامة اقتضتها ضرورة التعديل الجدي الصادر بالقانون رقم 34 تاريخ 195/12/31. وقد ألحقت بنهاية كل بحث ما ذهب غليه التفسير العملي لهذا القانون الاجتهادات القضائية المختلفة إذ لا يكفي الشرح النظري مجرداً عن الفهم التطبيقي الذي يمارسه القضاة من خلال عملهم في حل قضايا الأسرة ضمن هذا القانون.
هذا إضافة إلى تلك المقارنة التي بدأتها ي الجزء الأول مع أحكام الشريعتين اليهودية والمسيحية في شؤون الزواج والطلاق. وعلى ذلك سيكون محتوى هذا الجزء الثاني قسمين: القسم الأول: أحكام الطلاق. القسم الثاني: نتائج الولادة أو حقوق الأولاد.
