يشرح الكتاب التكامل الثنائي لدالة ذات متغيرين، والمعنى الهندسي الذي يمكن اعطاءه لهذا التكامل، ويضيف اربع تطبيقات للتكامل المضاعف، كما يعرف "عزم القصور الذاتي" و "نصف قطر القصور الذاتي"، ويوضح اختلاف التكامل الثنائي في الإحداثيات القطبية عن التكامل الثنائي في الإحداثيات الديكارتية كما يمكن الطالب من معرفة عناصر الحجمية الأساسية للتكامل الثلاثي في: الإحداثيات الديكارتية، وفي الإحداثيات الأسطوانية، وفي الإحداثيات الكروية، وكيف للطالب من تعريف مساحة سطح وكيفية حسابها، وغير ذلك.
إلى ذلك، يشتمل الكتاب على نماذج لمعادلات رياضية ودروس مهمة في هذا الحقل المعرفي، وتمارين منوعة يقوم الطالب بالتمرين عليها وحلها؛ وقد بلغت في الكتاب (62) تمريناً؛ هي كل ما يحتاجه الطالب في الرياضيات الحديثة.
