في البدء كانت المفاهيم وفي المنتهى نجدنا أمام نتائج حروب تصرف بعملة المفاهيم، دائماً ستوجد فلسفة وراء الحرب وفلسفة بعد الحرب.
بما أنّ المعركة هي في البدء والمنتهى معركة مفاهيم، فإنّ الفلسفة المعنية بتدبير المفاهيم معنية بالحرب، غير أنّ الحرب لا تتيح السؤال ولا تسمح به، الحرب هي قمع للسؤال وفرض لقيم ومفاهيم وبدائل، الحرب تغير المفاهيم والتاريخ والجغرافيا، وأحياناً تقوم بما وجب أن تقوم به الفلسفة بشكل آخر.
من هنا، يأتي كتاب د. علي عبود المحمداوي الذي سمّاه "الفلسفة والإرهاب" في سياقه الطبيعيّ، في سياقه السياسيّ حيث لا صوت يعلو هذه الأيام على صوت الإرهاب، وفي سياقه الفلسفيّ حيث تعيش الفلسفة نوعاً من الكساد والتدمير الذّاتي الذي يتولاّه أصحابها.
في السياقين معاً تبدو مبادرات د. علي عبود ملفتة، كما تشير إلى ذلك جملة النشاطات المكثفة التي ينهض بها - وهي جهد لا تنهض به مؤسسات بكاملها - بحيوية شباب تشرّب القول الفلسفيّ مع الكثير من رائحة البارود في مجال تكاد تكون الحرب تاريخاً وجغرافية له.
والفلسفة في زمن السلم ليست هي الفلسفة في زمن الحرب، ثمّة مزاج يهيمن على ذائقة الفيلسوف في السلم أو الحرب، لكن أن تحافظ على رباطة الجأش فلسفيّاً في زمن الحرب والإستقطاب هي مهمّة صعبة لا يحتملها إلاّ فيلسوف.
