الماركسيّة عنوان لنظريّة كبرى صارت إلى لحظة أساسيّة في الثقافة الحديثة، فهي لم تمت، ولكن بدأت شكلًا جديدًا على يد الماركسيين الجدد الذين أعادوا إنتاج منظومتها المعرفية والفكرية وفق شروط معاصرة أطلقوا عليها إسم ثقافة ما بعد ماركسية، سوف نلتمس معانيها أكثر من هذا الكتاب "الماركسية الغربية وما بعدها" يعمل بين صفحاته جهدًا فكريًا ورهنًا ثقافيًّا عميقًا من أجل التّعريف بطاقة الماركسيّة التي لا تستنفذ، وهو ما تجسّد على لحظات متتالية هي بمثابة المسار الفكريّ المتوعّر لإرساء ثقافة ما بعد الماركسيّة في وقت صار فيه التساؤل عن شرعيّة الماركسيين العرب في أفق إسلاموي أمر مثير للجدل. فقد تدرّج كتاب "الماركسيّة وما بعدها" من لحظة "التأسس" إلى "الإنعطاف" إلى "الإستعادة" ففي لحظة التأسّس جمّع الباحثون في هذا الكتاب كل الترسانة المفاهميّة الماركسيّة وتدرّجوا في التّعريف بها وبيان أبعدها بوصفها نظريّة معرفيّة براكسيسًا ثوريًا ونقدًا للمؤسّسة الدينيّة والسياسيّة والاجتماعيّة. أمّا عن الإنعطافات فقد انطلقت من التّعريف بمصطلح "ما بعد الماركسيّة" بما هو مفهوم صناعي لمجال دقيق غايته استشكال صلاحية الماركسيّة وشرعيّتها من أجل "ملاءمة اليسار مع الأوضاع بالغة التعقيد التي يعرفها العالم اليوم"، وفي هذه المنعطفات ثمة جهد عميق نحو التعريف بكل الذين فكروا ضد الطابق الأرثودكسي للماركسيّة على اعتبار أن الماركسية "لم تعد على مجموعة من القضايا المثبتة في هيئة أركان كأركان الإيمان" ثم تتالت المنعطفات داخل هذا الخط الما بعد الماركسي بشكل كثيف وعميق منذ المنعطف النقدي لمدرسة فرنكفورت إلى المنعطف التفكيكي لدريدا فكانت أطياف ماركس تتحاور على صفحات هذا الكتاب كما في "مسرح سياسي فسيح منذ غارودي إلى باختين إلى جورج لابيكا إلى توماس كون، ومن غرامشي وألتوسير إلى هابرماس ورنسيا.. لقد حاول الباحثون في هذا الكتاب تقديم الماركسيّة الغربية وما بعدها إلى القارئ العربي في تنويعات مغايرة مراهنين في ذلك على تهذيب السّلوك النقدي إزاء كلّ النظريّات من أجل عقلانيّة مفتوحة على إمكانيّات أخرى من فهم العالم. من الباحثين المشاركين في هذا الكتاب نذكر: د. يوسف تيبس، بشير خليفة، أ. د. عامر عبد زيد الوائلي، مصطفى الحداد، د. علي عبود المحمداوي، د. أم الزين بنشيخة المسكيني، نهى فران، (...) وآخرون.
