أن حركة الزمن وما تعصف به من مفاهيم وأيديولوجيات تكون متباينة حسب التطور الحضاري للأمم والشعوب، بالوقت الذي انتهت المراحل الدينية والقومية منذ زمن بعيد في الشعوب الأوربية بعدما خلفت ورائها الكثير من الحروب والكوارث، وقد اتجهت بعدها إلى المستقبل في تعاون اقتصادي دولي ضمن دول ذات صبغة وطنية تجمع كل التنوعات الدينية والعرقية، في حين بدأت في منطقة الشرق الأوسط والمنطقة العربية منذ بداية القرن العشرين، موجات عنيفة من الروح القومية حتى انتهت بفواجع ومآسي عديدة للعرب إبتداءا من عام 1967 وانتهاءً باحتلال العراق عام 2003 فانهارت هذه الأيديولوجية وخارت قدراتها الفكرية والأقناعية وبطل سحرها وتلاشت تدريجيا من الذاكرة حتى صور قيادات منها صورتي جمال عبد الناصر وصدام حسين، ورافق ذلك انهيار أيديولوجيات أممية كالماركسية الشيوعية ،لكن من الملفت للانتباه انبثاق أيديولوجيات قومية قوية في صفوف المجتمع الكردي، وقد يرى البعض منهم اليوم القائد الكردي مسعود البرزاني يمثل جمال عبد الناصر الأكراد قاطبة؟ وقد رافق ذلك بروز أيضا أيديولوجيات دينية في صفوف المجتمع العربي شيعية متأثرة بالفكر الثوري الإيراني وسنية متأثرة بفكر الأخوان المسلمين وما أطلق عليها جزافا (الربيع العربي) تشبها بالربيع الأوربي لعام 1848، مما أنعكس ذلك على سياق هذا الكتاب الذي ركز كثيرا على النزعة القومية الكردية ،ولقد حاول المؤلف الوصول إلى قناعات تفضي إلى أعادة تشكيل (كردستان الجنوبية – شمالي العراق) لتكون أساسا لتشكيل (كردستان الكبرى )لتشمل جميع الأكراد ومناطقهم الحالية في إقليم الشرق الأوسط، وقد وجد المؤلف مؤتمر القاهرة لعام 1921 برئاسة السياسي البريطاني الشهير (ونستن تشرتشل) منعطفا أساسيا في ضياع فرصة تشكيل (دولة كردستان) مما أفرد له فصلا كاملا فيه الكثير من التفصيل.
