تستهل الشاعرة البحرينية ليلى السيد مجموعتها الشعرية "كرز ومطر" بموشور نصي يتمظهر ببنية إهداء تقول فيه "أتكلم ليس عن خطاياي فحسب، بل كلَ خطايا الإلهات اللواتي يأسن وهن يعظن بالحبَ عن كراهية العالم"، ومن هذا المفتتح تنطلق الشاعرة لتأسيس حياة النص داخل حياتها كأنثى/ شاعرة، لتظل الكتابة الشكل الوحيد للتعبير عن قلق الأنا وسياحتها داخل فضاء صوري مثقل بضجيج الوجود والكون والأشياء الأخرى. فالبحر الذي خرج من عباءتها يشكل كياناً خاصاً تتصادق فيه المخلوقات فيما بينها عبر مساحة حياتية ليتحقق حلم الشاعرة في سياحتها اللغوية الصورية التي تصل بها إلى ذروة الحلم في جملتها الشعرية "أيشتهيك البحر؟/ أيخرجك من عباءتي أرضاً/ تدجج المستباح من محبرتي؟/ اعلم يا من أغوتك إنسيتك/ إنك موبوء بمسَ قدسيَ لا يناله إلا من اطمأنت لحنانه(...)".
إن غاية الشاعرة هي خلق المغايرة لدى ذائقة القارئ، ليحفر عميقاً داخل النص ويفكك رموزه وإشاراته في متاهات هذا العالم، وكيف لا والشعر ما هو إلا إثارة.
و"كرز ومطر" قصيدة طويلة تتألف من (81) مقطعاً شعرياً كتبت الشاعرة نصوصها ما بين 2007 و2009م...
