إذا أخذنا الثنائية التي تم اقتراحها، فسنجد أن الإنسان يبدو فيها «قارئاً-كاتباً» أو «كاتباً-قارئاً»، على أنه يبدو في ثنائية سوسير «متكلماً». والفرق بين الثنائيتين هو فرق في الفلسفة القائمة خلفهما . فسوسير يستند في العمق إلى متصوّر لاهوتي عن المتكلم، يستوي فيه الخالق والمخلوق على الصعيد النظري. فالمتكلم عنده، أي بحسب الناتج المنطقي لثنائيته، يجب أن يكون كائناً أعلى، وفرداً، ومتوحّداً ذاتاً مع نظامه وأدائه في الوقت نفسه . وهو يصنع دالّه ويملأ مدلوله. وهو يتعاقب في الزمان حضوراً من غير انقطاع، فلا يغيب فيه عمّا يقول، ولا يقول فيفصله الزمان عمّا يقول . ولذا كان كلامه تاماً في حضوره، وحضوره تاماً في كلامه.
أما إذا عدنا إلى ثنائية «القراءة-الكتابة» و«الكتابة-القراءة»، فسنجد أنها تستند إلى متصوّر آخر، لا يمارس فيه الكائن الكلام، أي الفعل الأول والأصل، ولكن القراءة . ولذا، فهو يستنسخ، أي يمارس فعلاً ثانياً هو الكتابة. وإنه إذ يفعل ذلك، يضاعف نقصه كلاماً، وحضوره غياباً.
وعليه، فإننا نفهم لماذا تكون الكتابة على الدوام كتابة ثانية، سواء مثّل هذه الكتابة نص العمل الأدبي نفسه، أم مثّلها نص كتب على نص العمل الأدبي، أم مثّلتها لسانيات النص الدارسة لنص العمل الأدبي.
ولقد رأينا في فاتحة المتعة أن نفك وثاق هذه الثنائية «القراءة-الكتابة»، لنقف على «القراءة» بوصفها فعّالية تنتج المكتوب، وعلى «الكتابة» بوصفها فعّالية تنتج «القراءة» وتتجاوز بها نفسها، وما كان ذلك إلّا لأن ثمّة حاجة لسبر معرفي تدعو إليه ضرورات الإبداع من حيث هو كينونة لغوية لا تتوقف عن أن تصير، ومن حيث هي وجود كتابي لا يكف عن الولادة في كتابات أخرى كثيرة لا تتناهى.
