" مسيّا ", هى لفظة يهودية تعني في الإيمان اليهودي هو إنسان مثالي من نسل الملك داود (النبي داود في الإسلام) يباشر بنهاية التاريخ ويخلص الشعب اليهودي من ويلاته. والأحداث المتوقعة عند وصول الماشيح حسب الإيمان اليهودي تشابه أحداث يوم القيامة في الإسلام والمسيحية، تدور الرواية فى إطار بوليسى نفسي مشوق لا يخلو من فلسفة الجندي المعهودة فى رواياته, حيث تتسارع أحداث الرواية حتى تأخذنا بين أحداثها بين خمسة دول " مصر – تركيا – فرنسا – إيطاليا – لندن ", الرواية تحوي العديد من المعلومات التاريخية الهامة التى استخدمها الجندي لتوصيل معلوماته كما أنه استعان بطاقم عمل من كل تلك البلاد ليتم تزويده بكل المعلومات الحقيقية عن الأماكن التى تتناولها الرواية بدقة ولذلك نوه فى نهاية روايته بأن كل وصف الأماكن التى جاء ذكرها هو وصف حقيقي ودقيق
