رواية سرديات المنفى تأليف محمد الشحات، يحاول هذا الكتاب فى أول الأمر إلى جانب العديد من الأهداف، إلى فض الاشتباك بين مفهومي 'المنفى' و'الغربة' من خلال بحث نقدي يحلل الخطاب الروائي العربي من زاوية الاهتمام بتيمة 'النفي' أساسا في الرواية العربية، عبر مدخل بعينه هو 'السرد'، بل ما يكمن خلف هذا الاصطلاح من اتجاهات ونظريات مختلفة تلتف حول السرد بوصفه علما، وعبر عدد من التساؤلات التي تشكل المداخل الأساسية للكتاب ما 'المنفى'؟ وما الفرق بينه وبين 'الغربة'، كما تصوغهما الرواية العربية الحديثة؟.
