عادل العجيمي قاص مصري من مواليد عام 1972 حصل على الليسانس في اللغة العربية من كلية الآداب بجامعة القاهرة عام 1994، حصل على المركز الأول في مسابقة نادي القصة عام 2008، وأصدر ثلاث مجموعات قصصية، بعنوان "لوحات زجاجية لعدة رجال" 2003، "أفق يحتضن الصدى" 2006، "رقصة في الهواء الطلق" 2009، نشر أعماله في عدد من الدوريات مثل أخبار الأدب، الثقافة الجديدة، القاهرة.

يسلك القاص عادل العجيمي بمجموعته القصصية الجديدة "حبات التوت"، دربًا قصصياً لا يزال غير مؤتنس في أدبنا المصري المعاصر- رغم بعض المحاولات التي سبقته- وهي القصة القصيرة جدًا ,ويحاول ، عبر اثنين وأربعين قصة، رصد العلاقات الإنسانية، بين الفرد ونفسه، وبينه ومن حوله، والتي قد تبدو لبعض الكُتاب كلاشيها جاهزًا وطريقًا سهلا-ومحببا-، إلا أن "العجيمي" لا يريد إلا أن يصنع لنفسه -من خلالها- "سبيلا" في هذا المسار الجديد، وذلك من خلال صياغة لغوية شاعرة، وجمل تنضوي على نظرة فلسفية عميقة.
