يقدم لنا الدكتور ياسر عبدالفتاح الأسطواني مناقشة ثرية للكلمة السواء التي أمرنا القرآن أن ندعو إليها والتي دعا إليها الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم أهل الكتاب، ويوضح لنا الكاتب الفرق بين النصرانية والمسيحية ثم ينتقل بعد ذلك للحديث عن الكتاب المقدس، فيحدثنا عن العهد القديم والعهد الجديد والإساءات التي نزلت بالنصرانية والاختلافات الكثيرة بين أناجيلهم وكيف تم فلترة كل هذا في مجمعهم والوصول إلى عقيدة التثليث. ويحدثنا عن هذه العقيدة بشكل مفصل وكيف اختلف أصحاب التثليث أنفسهم، وكيف أن أقوال السيد المسيح تبطل هذه العقيدة أصلًا. وبعد ذلك ينتقل للحديث عن الثالوث والوثنية وكيف انتقلت هذه العقيدة من الهند إلى المسيحية ويناقش المؤلف الدكتور ياسر عبدالفتاح عقيدة الفداء عند المسيحيين. ويختتم الكتاب بالحديث عن عقيدة التوحيد والدين الواحد ويناقش مسألة انتشار الإسلام بحد السيف وهل تعامل مع النصارى بعنف أم برحمة وغير ذلك من الإشكاليات التي أثارها المغرضون.
