مجموعة من خمس عشرة قصة لِتعليمِ القراءةِ للصِّغار، مُتوسِّطُ عدد الكلماتِ في الصفحةِ كلمتان، ومتوسط عدد الكلماتِ في القصة أربع عشرة إلى عشرين كلمة.
نصوصُ القصصِ تشتملُ على الكلمات الـمائة الشائعة لرياضِ الأطفالِ، وتُشكِّل هذهِ الكلمات جزءاً كبيراً من تركيبِ الجمل المستخدمة في الحياة اليومية للطفل، وهي أيضا الأكثرُ تَكراراً وشيوعًا في النّصوصِ الـمُوَجَّهَةِ للصّغارِ، ويُطلقُ عَليها أحيانًا اسْم "الكَلِمات البَصَرِيّة".
هذه الكلماتٌ يَجِبُ أنْ نُشجّعَ الصّغارَ على تعلُّمِها وإتقانِها، وقد تمَّ اقتراحها والتّوصيةُ بإتقانِها مِن قِبَلِ مجلسِ أبوظبي للتّعليمِ، كما أنها تتناغَمُ معَ الكَلِماتِ الشّائِعَةِ التي تــمّ تقديـمُها مِنْ قِبَلِ العَديدِ مِنَ الـمُؤَسّساتِ التّعليميةِ.
تَمَّ تَقْسيمُ هذِهِ الكَلماتِ المائة الشائعة إلى خمس عشرة قصة، ثُمّ تَقسيم القَصصِ إلى ثلاثِ مجموعاتٍ، كلُّ مجموعةٍ تتكوَّنُ من خمس قصصٍ تشتمِلُ على أربع وثلاثين إلى ثلاث وثلاثين كلمة ولغلافها لونٌ مميّزٌ .
في كلّ قِصّةٍ ما بين ست إلى سبع كَلماتٍ شائعةٍ ملوّنةٍ بالأحْمر، وقدْ تمّ جمعُ هذهِ الكلماتِ في الصّفحتَيْنِ الأخيرتينِ من كلّ قصّةٍ. أثناءَ قِراءَتِنا للقصّة نشجِّع الطِّفْل على الـمُشارَكةِ في قراءةِ هذه الكلماتِ، ثُمَّ ندرِّبهُ على مراجعتِها وإتقانِها، وبذلكَ يكتَسِبُ الطفلُ حصيلةً لُغويّةً تُساعِدُهُ على القراءةِ بسرعةٍ وثقة.
