"قد تختفي الحقيقة لفترات طويلة.. قد تُغيَّب في الظَّلام، بعيداً عن ضوء الشَّمس.. وقد تُوثق بحبال متينة.. وربما تسجن تحت الأرض وخلف القضبان.. وقد تُطعن في الظَّهر وتُترك دونما نجدة، عل ماء الحياة ينفذ من عروقها.. ولكنَّها، أبداً لا تموت.. ربما يخبو بريقها أحياناً بيد أنها لا تنطفئ برغم ما يُبذل لطمسها.. وفي وقت ما آتٍ لا محالة ستتوهج مرة أخرى ويعلو أوارها..
هل تنطبق هذه القاعدة يا تُرى على دير الصخور؟ أيمكن أن تظهر حقيقتها جليَّة ساطعة مثل ضوء الشَّمس؟.
قد تتساءل عن دير الصخور التي تسلِّط هذه الحكاية الضوء عليها، والتي تنبش عُلا الشامي وفريقها المكون من الدكتور عبد العزيز المؤرخ، والمحامي الشاب نزار الخياط، وعامر طه الصحفي، والحقوقية صفاء الواكد، الأوراق والجغرافيا وذاكرة الأشخاص من أجلها، ويتتبعون الحقائق التي تمت لها بصلة، أين هي دير الصخور؟ ما هي حكايتها وتاريخها؟ كيف تدهورت الأحوال فيها وتُركت وحدها للعقبان تنهشها؟ من الذي سارع يئدها ويهيل الثرى عليها ويغنم تركتها وما زال فيها بقية من روح؟ ألم يدافع عنها أحد أو يتدخل لإنقاذها؟ أين ذهب أهلها وسكَّانها؟ ماذا لو أن الفريق وصل إلى حقيقتها كاملة؟ أيمكنه بعثها وإعادة الحياة إليها كما كانت في الماضي؟ هل سيعمل الفريق على قلب رجل واحد حتى نهاية الطريق، أم أن الخوف من الآتي سيجعل البعض منهم يعيد النظر ويتراجع طلباً لأمنه وسلامته؟.
ما إن تبدأ بقراءة هذه السردية حتى تجد نفسك غائصاً في قاع بحرها.. راغباً في استكشاف خفاياها وأسرارها.. ولكن انتبه.. ليس كل ما في قاع البحر درر ولآلئ.. بل فيه وحوش وهوام تتعطش للدماء والأجساد.. فكن حذراً بما يكفي حتى لا تهاجمك.. وإلا فلن تجد معك أحد".
