سعيد خطيبي كاتب وصحافي جزائري، من مواليد 29 ديسمبر1984. عمل في جريدة الجزائر نيوز حيث ساهم لمدة سنتين في تحرير الملحق الثقافي "الأثر" ثم انتقل إلى جريدة الخبر. درس في الجزائر، وفرنسا. يكتب باللغتين العربية والفرنسية، وعام 2012 حصل على جائزة الصحافة العربية. اشتهر خصوصا بتغطية مناطق النزاعات في أفريقيا وأوروبا الشرقية.
من أشهر مؤلفاته "بعيدا عن نجمة" 2009م، "أعراس النار: قصة الراي" 2010م، والذي يعتبر أول كتاب توثيقي حول موسيقى الراي. كما نشر في كتاب "عبرت المساء حافياً" حوارات مع أشهر الكتاب الفرانكفونيون. عام 2013، أصدر روايته الأولى كتاب الخطايا، التي نالت صدى نقدياً واسعاً في الجزائر والعالم العربي
عام 2015، صدر له كتاب «جنائن الشّرق الملتهبة»، حاصل على جائزة ابن بطوطة للرحلة المعاصرة. عمل سكرتير تحرير مجلة الدوحة الثقافية، واستقال منها عام 2016، كما أسّس موقع نفحة الّثقافي

نجوت من الموت، وخرجت من حبس، ظننت أنني سأمكث فيه سنوات طوال، أزهقت روحاً، والتحقت بالقتلة، ثم تعثّرت، وتخيّلت أنني لن أقف على رجليّ.
من جديد، شعرت أن عمري يتبخر، ببطء، ولن أحقّق حلمي، الذي حملته معي، هنا وفي غربتي، كما تحمل أمّ رؤوم جنينها الأوّل.
تصوّرت أن الحرب التي مزّقت وجه سراييفو، ستجرفني معها، وتحوّلني إلى خرقة بالية، لا نفع منها، بزغت صورة شقيقتي الصّغرى في ذهني، وخفت أن يختلّ عقلي، وأجنّ مثلها، لكن يداً خفيّة سحبتني إلى الأعلى، وقذفتني إلى حيثما أريد... هل هي يد العذراء؟ التي طالما عصيتها!...
لست أعرف من أنقذني، دون أن يطلب مني مقابلاً، لكنني أقرّ أنني أنا السّبب في كل ما حصل لي من مصائب ومحن.
