من مقاصد الترجمة النهوض باللغة و إحيائها, و من ذلك تعتبر الترجمة وسيلة من وسائل خدمة اللغة العربية و ثقافتها, و قد تقوم الترجمة بدور سيء اذا لم يعرف المترجم مقاصدها و أسرارها, لا سيما في هذا العصر الذي سادت فيه موجة التغريب التي تسعى إلى تهميش و تشويه اللغة العربية. تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى تحري أهم إشكالات الترجمة التي تعني اللغة العربية من المنظور اللغوي و الثقافي و كيف يمكن للترجمة أن تصبح سببا من أسباب النهوض باللغة العربية من خلال التعريب الهادف و الأصيل, و تناولت هذه الدراسة الأسباب وراء أهم إشكالات الترجمة و تأثيرها على الواقع الثقافي للغة العربية بحيث أن الترجمة ظاهرة ذي الحدين. وتختم الدراسة بتوصيات و مقترحات في مجال الترجمة من شأنها ان تخدم اللغة العربية و آدابها على المستوى الفردي و المؤسساتي و أن ترجعها إلى مكانتها العلمية و العالمية و بالله التوفيق.
