"كانو الولاد، يفكرو هالغيم ضيعا، والشمس دكان فيها، صاحبو ببيع زيني، والأرض بالصيف منو بتشتري تيابا الجداد. كانو الولاد... ينطروا بها لسهل حتى الريح تمرق يركبو فيها، ويروحو بيشترو منو شمع، ووراق وعصافير زرقا، وعلب تون وقرنفل وسجاد، وجراسْ تلمعْ قبل حبات الياقوت، تيزينو البيوت إيام العياد. في يوم راحو، تأخرو، خافو أهاليهن، وللبحر، ع طراف السما، هنّي وعليهن يندهو، وصلت أساميهن، وشوي شافو باب بالغيم انفتح، ممدود قدامو جسر قوس القدح، فوقو الولاد، راجعين وفي معن عيد الميلاد".
"كبّْ كلساتو ع إجر الطاولي، وقرب على وراقي أخد منهن قصيدي ونتفا. كانت قصيدي بظن صرلي شهر قاعد ألّفا. وينتفا، وتكر ضحكاتو. وجيت بدي لمها. لكن بدل ما لمها، لميت كلساتو". في ديوانه "سنونو تحت شمسية بنفسج" قصائد تفوح منها رائحة الطبيعة، وتطلّ منها صورها، ملونة بألوان زاهية ومكتوبة بلغة آسرة وبأسلوب رائع وبإحساس مرهف يتحول إلى موسيقى تسري في داخل النفس منتزعاً منها مشاعر لطيفة ودندنات خفيفة.
