إن المتتبع للعلاقة الأزلية بين الشاعر جوزف حرب وعالمه الشعري، يدرك تماماً الروح الداخلية للشاعر بما تعنيه من حقيقة وحلم معاً، الحلم ادراكي لحقيقة الوجود والعلاقة الثنائية المتحققة بخلود الأنا / الشاعرة وعلاقتها بالوجود الكلي للحياة. أليس هو القائل: "قصائدي / رائعة، / كاملة، / وكان باستطاعتي لو شئت / أن أجعلها / أروع، / أكمل، / حُبّي / جميل / ممتع / وكان باستطاعتي لو شئت / أن أجعله / أجمل، / أمتع، / لكنني أخطأت أنني أحببتُ / عندما كتبت، / وأنني كتبت / عندما أحببت". من هذه الصورة الشعرية التي يرسمها الشاعر نقرأ تتعدد الثيمات في تجربته الكلية، فمنها العاطفية والتخييلية والذاكراتية والنفسية، تلك التي ينهل منها معانيها الحياتية لتشع على النسيج الكلي للنص في عمله الشعري هذا "كلك عندي إلا أنت" وكأنه يوثق به ومن خلاله وجوده الشخصي والشعري والحياتي معاً ويدهشنا في كل جديد.
