"ظلّك.. كذّاب. ما بيحسّ. مَ يتفرِقْ مَعُوْ. بيضحك عليك. بيْسِرقَكْ. وَبِيستغِلّكْ. بْيستعَمْلكْ تاما يشوف الشمس هيي وبالسما، بيستعملك كِلًّكْ. بيمشي وَراك انْكَانْ قدّامك شمس. قِدّامك بيمشي أذا شمسك وراك. بيختفي انكان الشمس نزلت عليك. بيختفي حتّى تحت اجريك. بتمرض. مَ بيحسْ بمَرضْ. بيجوع ما بيجوع. بتحب ما بِحِبْ. بتشتاق مَ بيشْتاق. وبتحزن ولا بيحْزن معك. محتال. ما عِندُو بوجُّو عيون تايبكو اذا بكيو عينيك. بتوقع بيوقع معك. مَ بْينْجِرحْ. وبتِحتِرقْ بيصير يتلوّى مَعَك، لكن لَ نار بتِحرقو ولا بيتوجع وبيتركك وحدك أذا طلّ العتم من كتر ما هوي جبان، ومِشْ وفي. وإن فلّ بغياب الشمس لمّا الشمس بتطلّ بتشوفو رجع. كلِّ اللي مِنّك آخذوا شكلك واللي عملت وبيعملو متلك. ظلّك ما في حدا بيرافقك قدّو بحياتك كِلّْها. ظلّك بتقْعد بيقعد. أذا بتمشي مشي. بتوقف بيوقف. أذا بتوقع وَقَعْ ظلّك. ظلّك مَ بيهمّو أذا ما مِتْ إنك مِتْن وَينْ بتندفنْ. لا هو بيعزي، ولا بيتعزَّى ولا بيحضر إلك جِّناز انك صاحبو. كل ال بيهمّو تْضَلّْ طيّب كِترْ ما بيخاف إنو ليل من بين الليالي، لا قمر عندو، ولا عندو نجم، من بعد مَوْتَكْ، عيبو بالعَتِمْ، وظلّك ترك ظلّك مرّة مَرَق ظلّي على بالي، وكان ليل، وَهُوْ مَ بَعْرف وين بغيابي، تذكرت أصحابي".
