يقطع بلند الحيدري دروب المنفى، يسافر، يهاجر، يبحر، يبتعد عن نفسه ويقترب منها ليغوص أكثر في عمق مأساة المنفى، ونحن عمق تلك المأساة تسحب معاني تغيض باحساسات، تحيل سطور الشعر صوراً، أنغاماً، تستقر في النفس، وتوقظ فيها مشاعر الحزن والضباع لغربة عن وطن بعيد مسكون بالآلام والأوهام.
