يقدم هذا الكتاب "موسوعة التعبير والترجمة باللغتين العربية والإنكليزية" خمسين موضوعاً تتمحور حول جوانب شتى من الحياة مما يحتاج الطالب إليه في مراحل الدراسة كافة وبخاصة المرحلة الجامعية، وفضلاً عن ذلك فهو يزود الطالب بصياغات لغوية وأفكار تحفزه على الكتابة.
مضى الجزء الأول متقبلاً بقبول حسن، فكان حافزاً لنا على الشروع في الجزء الثاني الذي حذا حذو الجزء الأول، لكنه تميز عنه بشكل ملفت: ففي الجزء الأول كان الموضوع يلي الموضوع بينما تضمن الجزء الثاني فاصلاً بين موضوع وآخر هو عبارة عن حوار أو حديث قصير بين شخصين يتمحور حول موضوع التعبير الذي سبقه، وهذا الحوار يهدف إلى أمرين : الأول تمكين القارئ من التركيز حول الموضوع من جهة وإتاحة الفرصة له لكي يقرأ حواراً فيكون ذلك بمثابة تغيير ماتع ومفيد للقارئ من حيث اللغة الحوارية. مما يساعد على المحادثة.أما الفارق الملفت بين الجزء الأول والجزء الثاني فهو أن موضوعات الجزء الثاني أقصر من موضوعات الجزء الأول: والحق إن الذي دفعنا إلى هذا الاتجاه أن الموضوعات الطويلة أو المقالات قد تكون أعوَد بالنفع على الطلاب الجامعيين في حين أن الموضوعات القصيرة يفيد منها الطلاب بمختلف مستوياتهم. أضف إلى ذلك أن الموضوع إذا قصر كان أجدى من حيث التركيز ولعل ذلك يسهل على الطلاب الاقتباس. وقد حاولنا ان نورد في هذا الجزء، كما فعلنا في الجزء الأول خمسين موضوعاً، وأهم هذه المواضيع: عنف كرة القدم، الأم، الرعب، مشاكل الشباب، المبالغة، التعصب الأعمى، أحلام اليقظة، الفضول، التمييز العنصري، العواطف في مجتمع مادي، الذكريات، الإرهاب، الالم، الحب، الصباح، الجمال، الموسيقى، الثقافة والمعرفة، مستقبل الجنس البشري، العمل، القلق، لا مكان أفضل من البيت، الأسلوب، العدالة، المغامرة، اللباقة، الانتفاضة.
