يتحدث الشيخ الوصابي في هذا الكتاب عن فضائل الصناعات، وعن عادات الأنبياء، وبين فضل الكد في الزراعات، وكيف أن في الزرع أفضل المكاسب الطيبات، وهو من أهم فروض الكفايات، إذ به تعيش الحيوانات. وأيّد ذلك كله من خلال ما ورد في كل أمر من الأحاديث والروايات، والآيات الكريمات البينات.
ثم ينتقل إلى الحديث عن فضل السعي على البنين والبنات، وفضل محبهم ومتحفهم في كل الأوقات، وفضل من أطعم ذوي الحاجات، وفضل خدمة المرأة لزوجها وعوَلها وأن من أفضل فعلها اجتهادها في غزلها. ثم يذكر الأشياء المنمية للمال، الذي من استعملها سلم في دنياه من الأهوال، وحشر في أخراه مع الأبدال.
ثم يورد في الطب ما روى في الحديث النبوي بشرح قوي، ثم يردف ذلك بأحاديث تعم فيها البركة، وتنفي عن المرء الهلكة، وبأذكار مأثورة، بركتها مشهورة، وينظم بين ذلك آداباً حسنة، وآثاراً جيدة مستحسنة، ورد فيها أوراد تجمع لمستعملها خيري الدنيا والآخرة.
