إنطلاقاً من قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "إن الله لا يحب الفارغ الصحيح، لا في عمل الدنيا ولا في عمل الآخرة" يضع الشيخ أبي عبد الله محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن عمر الوصابي الحبيشي المتوفى سنة 783هـ كتابه "البركة في فضل السعي والحركة" يشرح فيه فضل العمل والسعي في كسب الرزق وثوابه في الدنيا والآخرة، ويبدأ بقوله: "أحببت أن أشرح لهم في هذا الكتاب ما يسلي قلوبهم، وينفس كروبهم، من فضائل الصناعات، وأنها للأنبياء عادات، وأبين فضل الكوفي الزراعات... وأذكر ما ورد في ذلك من الأحاديث والروايات، والآيات الكريمات البينات، وأبين فضل الساعي على البنين والبنات، وفضل محبهم ومتحفهم في كل الأوقات، وفضل من أطعم ذوي الحاجات، وفضل خدمة المرأة لزوجها وعولها وأن من أفضل فعلها إجتهادها في غزلها؛ وأذكر فيه الأشياء المنمية للمال، وأورد فيه من الطب ما روي في الحديث النبوي، بشرح قوي وأردف ذلك بأحاديث تعم فيها البركة، وتنفي عن المرء الهلكا وبأذكار مأثورة، بركتها مشهورة، وأنظم بين ذلك آداباً حسنة... وفضائل مهمة باهرة...".
هذه الآداب تم توزيعها في الكتاب ضمن سبعة فصول تتناول: فضل الحرث والزرع والثمار وفضل المغزل (خدمة المرأة لزوجها)، وفيما تجتلب به البركة مما ينفي الفقر، ويعظم الأجر، وفضل العبادات وفضل العلم وآداب الصحية والمجاورات، وفيما ورد من الآثار في الطب والمنافع، وعرض لأربعين حديثاً كل حديث يتضمن لفظ البركة وفيه فصول، ومنها فصل في صفة المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم، وأذكار ودعوات، وآداب، وروايات، جيدة مباركات، مشهورات، لخيري الدنيا والآخرة، وأخيراً فصل في آداب الدعاء...
