"البركة في فضل السعي والحركة" كتاب بديع في فضل السعي والجدِّ والعمل المتقن.كان السبب الرئيس والأهم في تصنيفه كما يقول مؤلفه العلامة الفقيه الحبيشي: (لما رأيت أهل بلدتنا هذه في الكد مجتهدين، وعلى الاشتغال بالحرف معتمدين، مواظبين على ذلك معتضدين. وصاروا إذا رأوا أهل الرفاهية في البلدان، وراحة الرجال فيها والنسوان.. استنقصوا أحوالهم، وازدروا أفعالهم؛ ظنّاً منهم بأن الدعة والسكون أمر فاضل مسنون. كأنهم لم يبلغهم قول الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم حيث يقول: »إن الله لا يحب الفارغ الصحيح، لا في عمل الدنيا ولا في عمل الآخرة«.. أحببت أن أشرح لهم في هذا الكتاب ما يسلي قلوبهم، وينفس كروبهم، من فضائل الصناعات، وأنها للأنبياء عادات...) إلى آخر ما قال.
ولا مراء أن أهل علم الأبدان مجمعون على أن الحركة والسعي والنشاط الجسمي.. سبب رئيس للحماية من كثير من الأمراض، وإضفاء البهجة والسرور على النفوس، وتلاشي الكآبة والحزن من الأعماق على عكس ما يتوهمه المتوهمون من الدعة والسكون في الكسل والخمول.
وهذا عكس ما يشعر به أهل البطالة، الذين يرزحون تحت وطئة الكسل والتواني، وهم لا يجنون إلا الندامة. ولأهمية هذا الكتاب في هذا الباب.. توجهت عناية دار المنهاج لإعادة طبعه في ثوب قشيب، محققاً، مدققاً، مخدوماً بالخدمة اللائقة به علمياً وفنياً.
