الكتاب بذكر فضيلة شكر النعمة، وما أعده الله عز وجل للشاكرين من ثواب وأجر، ثم أتبعه بذكر إغفال شكر النعم، ثم ذكر بعدها عدة فصول عقدها في سجود الشكر عند حصول البشارة، وإن إقامة العبد على ما يكره الله يعد من الانحراف عن شكر النعمة، وعن الأعمال والأقوال التي يعد إتيانها من كفر النعمة.
