(الصحف المقدسة عند آل محمد) كتاب يأتي في جزئين: (الجزء الأول) هو مقدمة كتاب علي ويجمع فيه مؤلفه الشيخ "محمود قانصو العاملي": نظرة حول الصحف المقدسة عند آل محمد (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ومنها مصحف فاطمة رضي الله عنها والجفر وكتاب أملاه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وخطه علي بن أبي طالب (عليه السلام). يقول المؤلف عن كتاب علي: "... كتاب بخط أنامل يمين علي بن أبي طالب كتبه بمحضر النبي محمد وإملائه بصوته، فكان النبي ينطق بالحق وعلي يسمع ويخط في صحف مباركة لا تبلى ولا تدرس على مر الزمان، ولم يتوقف النبي عن الكلام حتى نطق لسانه الشريف بكل شرائع الله تعالى من الفتاوى والقضاء الذي تحتاجه البشر إلى يوم القيامة...".
جاء الكتاب في تفصيله وترتيبه على طريقة المحدثين حيث أن الكاتب لا يعلم طريقة الترتيب الأصلية لكتاب علي عليه السلام، فقدم تعريفاً لكتاب علي وبقية الصحف المباركة الموجودة بحوزة أئمة أهل البيت فمنها ما نزل نزولاً مباشراً على هيئة كتاب من عند الله تعالى، وصحف كانت للنبيين والوصيين السابقين ووصلت إلى نبينا محمد وأورثها أهل بيته، ومنها صحف نزلت معالمها على رسول الله ووهبها رسول الله لعلي أو أمره بكتابتها، ومنها كتب نزلت معالمها على أهل البيت مباشرة وكتبوها وأشهر هذه الكتب هو كتاب فاطمة المسى بمصحف فاطمة عليها السلام. وأشهر الكتب المنسوبة لعلي (عليه السلام) كتابان هما (كتاب علي) و (الجفر ) وكتابنا هذا هو شرح (لكتاب علي): وهو الكتاب المتضمن لشريعة الله أي الأحكام الشرعية قضاء وفتاوى وهو الصحيفة المسماة بالجامعة والتي طولها سبعون ذراعاً...".
اما المصادر التي اعتمد عليها الكاتب فبلغت (106) مصدراً مسنداً نذكر منها الاستبصار للشيخ الطوسي، الاحتجاج للشيخ الطبرسي، الأمالي للشيخ الصدوق، بحار الأنوار للعلامة المجلسي، دلائل الإمامة للطبري، فتح الباري لابن حجر... الخ.
