في عمله هذا، يكشف الحاج محمد بن حسين إسماعيل عن (أسرار آل محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم) وسيلته كتاب الله القرآن الكريم، وما ورد من أحاديث أهل بيت النبوة عليهم السلام، ويخصص فصلاً في وجوب "حب وإكرام واحترام الذرية الجليلة لرسول الله" لكونها من مسلمات الدين، حيث وردت روايات كثيرة في هذا الباب، وفصلاً آخر عن "أسرار وعجائب الصلاة على محمد وآله عليهم السلام" ويُستدل على ذلك مما قاله أكابر العلماء مثل الشيخ محمد تقي الأصفهاني، وموسى بن جعفر، والرضا عليه السلام وآخرون. كذلك يقدم الكتاب أدعية وأعمال اليوم والليلة، وصلوات وزيارات؛ تقضى بها الحوائج، وينال بها المسلم مرضاة الله في الدنيا والآخرة. ويختتم الكتاب بـ "أسرار وعجائب الدعاء للإمام المهدي" وما له من آثار عظيمة، وهي مما أورده العلامة الميرزا محمد الأصفهاني في كتابه (مكيال المكارم في فوائد الدعاء القائم) الباب الخامس.
