"آت من الوادي" ديوان شعري إستخدم فيه الشاعر فيصل أكرم مقاربة فلسفية إعتمدت على عمق التجربة ودهشة التداخلات. بمزيد من المزاوجة ما بين الحلم والواقع، والممكن والمستحيل، والصعب والمتحقق، نقرأ شعر فيصل أكرم. هذه الخصوصية التي ميزت شعره عن غيره من أبناء جيله، فالشعر لديه بمثابة إنعكاس لما يدور في الخارج، فجاءت قصائده لتعبر إلى قراءه بمرآته هو، كما وصفه النقاد بـ "العجيب، والجديد التجريدي في آن"، ويعني ذلك المستوى الجمالي والمضمون في آن معاً. يدون فيصل أكرم حياة الإنسان وما يعتر بها بإشارات لطيفة لمكامن الألم والضياع يستخدم فيها دراما حدثت في الماضي، وهذا ما يعطي نصوصه وأشعاره جاذبية لا مثيل لها وصدقاً مبني على التجربة، تجربة شاعر يحاول لملمة جراح عذابات، وأحوال مختلفة لصفوف القهر والإستلاب والحرمان، فكان صوته بمثابة الصدى الذي يقول إني آت: (آت من الوادي/ مستهتراً بالرمل كان/ آت/ لا المقابر، رغم خبرتها به، تأتي إليه/ ولا تكف عن الهروب بمن سيكفيه الحياة/ إذا الحياة تهورت/ وتطورت أثوابها/ حتى تخفت تحت جفن لا نعاس بلا تعب/ تمادى في المقام على العظام كرعشة/ كانت فكانت من كفاءتها الحياة خريصة/ حتى عليه/ آت من الوادي). يضم هذا الديوان الشعري ما يزيد عن ثمانية وعشرين قصيدة، تعبر جميعها عن رؤية خاصة لشاعر ملتزم، أدرك معنى الشعر وعرف كيف يلتقط مفرداته، فجاء شعره مزيجاً ما بين المتعة الممزوجة بالمرارة التي يحصلها القارئ مع السطور وفيما بينها...
