كثيرة هي الكتب التي تعرضت لكيفية تدريس اللغة العربية، وكثيرون الذين تعرضوا لهذا الموضوع، إلا أنهم لم يعطوا الموضوع شموليته وسهولته بالشكل الذي يريح المدرس والدارس، إلا أن هذا الكتاب أخذ هذا الأمر بعين الاعتبار، وكانت له ميزاته التالية: 1-الشمولية في تناول جميع المواضيع المتعلقة بتدريس اللغة العربية. 2-محاولة التيسير في عرض المادة، حيث حاول المؤلف وضع المادة (في أغلبها) على صورة نقاط، مع تماشي المواضيع التي لا تهمّ المدرس بشكل كبير وتحاشي الإطالة والإطناب. 3-معالجة مهارات اللغة بشكل جدي وفاعل بعد التعرض لها ودراستها من جميع جوانبها. 4-وضع المراجع المساعدة بعد كل موضوع والتي استفاد منها المؤلف. 5-تكريس المؤلف الخيرة نحو عقدين في مجال التدريس مع مزج ذلك بما اطلع عليه من آراء أهل الخبرة والدراية للوصول إلى الغاية المنشودة. 6-ترتيب مواضيع الكتاب ترتيباً منطقياً قدر الإمكان وبشكل مريح وميسر لتيسير تناوله.
