العارف شخصية مع الخلق، وقلبه مع الله، ولو سهى قلبه عن الله طرفة عين كان شوقاً إليه، والعارف أمين ودائع الله، وكنز أسراره، ومعدن نوره، ودليل رحمته على خلقه، ومطية علومه، وميزان فضله وعدله، قد غنى عن الخلق والمراد والدنيا، ولا مؤنس له سوى الله، ولا نطق ولا إشارة ولا نفس إلا بالله ولله ومن الله ومع الله، فهو في رياض قدسه متردد، ومن لطائف فضله إليه متزوّد، والمعرفة أصله وفرعه الإيمان. فالعرفان هو عبادة العاشقين لله سبحانه والمشتاقين إلى لقاءه عز وجل.
ومن خلال صفحات هذا الكتاب يلتقي القارئ مع علم من أعلام العرفان في التاريخ المعاصر. وهو واحد من ثلّة العارفين التي تحاول هذه السلسلة تعريف القارئ بهذه الثلة التي لعبت دوراً مهماً في التاريخ السياسي والثقافي المعاصر على الساحة الشيعية، بل وامتد أثرها أحياناً إلى عموم الساحة الإسلامية أيضاً. فهذه المجموعة الصالحة ليست جماعة صوفية تعيش في زوايا النسيان وانقطعت عن حياة الناس الفكرية والسياسية، بل كانت، إضافة إلى همومها الذاتية، تعيش هموم هداية المجتمع وإنقاذه من عبودية الهوى والشهوات وهيمنة الطاغوت والاستكبار. وشخصية هذا الكاتب والتي وقع عليها الاختيار في هذه الحلقة هو العارف الميرزا جواد الملكي، وهو عالم من علماء الشريعة وأستاذ من أساتذة السلوك، كان له الدور الأساسي في رعاية وتوسيع الحوزة العلمية في قم وتهيئة الأجواء الملائمة لانتقال الحوزة من أراك إلى قم، إضافة إلى التصدي لتربية مجموعة صالحة من المؤمنين وطلبة العلوم الدينية في النجف وتبريز وقم والأخذ بأيديهم في سلوك طريق العرفان، واستطاعت هذه المجموعة أن تمارس أدواراً مهمة في النهضة الفكرية والسياسية الحديثة في العالم الشيعي.
